90 Days of Waiting

It's been a slow go of things since the house leveling process started.  As I mentioned in an earlier post we were delayed by the rain so the punch list of items to do in the order they need to be done have all been pushed back.

In July the house leveling was finally completed.  The back of the house was lifted 8 inches and we were told it could have gone higher but the house levelers said they couldn't go any higher (safely).  The front of the house was lifted two inches.

What happens next?  

WAIT...........now we have 90 days to wait to do any work on the inside to give the house time to settle.  My husband will begin to work on the outside replacing boards and restacking the stone to close in the bottom of the house.
