What are you doing this weekend?

 Last week I got asked what I was going to do for the weekend.  You know Fall is in the air, cooler weather, college football games are on, and of course Saturday soccer games are in full swing.  I hesitated to respond with the well.....we have this house....so I just said oh, you know, gonna catch a few of the grandkids soccer games...pretty low key.  

But, nothing is further from the truth.  We spent the weekend in between soccer games painting.  Here are some of the pictures:

Beadboard in the bathroom.

Kitchen Cabinets can go in once floor is done.

Remember that shiplap that we got---we hung it here but we needed three more boards.

So, we had to paint the shiplap--not the look I wanted but you go with it.

We are making some steady progress and trying to get the work done on the walls so we can move down to the floors.  The order of things will be:

-Finish painting the two front rooms

-Start painting trim once trim is finished around doors and windows

-Lay Floors

-Install Cabinets

-Install sinks, move bathtub in, and install fixtures

The list of next steps is shrinking thank goodness!  Stay tuned...more to come!  Guess what we are going to do this weekend?  Hmmmm, I wonder!
