Cabinets are coming!

This weekend we finished laying the floor and started measuring in the kitchen so we can order cabinets.  Here are a few pictures of the bedroom floor we did and some of the hardware from the doors.  We spent Saturday sanding doors and getting them ready to paint.  The hardware from the doors went into a pot of boiling hot water with baking soda and for the most part the paint came off with a little scrubbing. Gotta love YouTube videos----you can find just about anything on there! We will paint the hardware black and start the process of getting the doors finished painting so we can get the hardware on and return them to the house.

I tried to keep all the hardware together by putting them in a baggie, so I know what door we took them off of---famous last words.  We all know that when we go to put them back on something will be missing or not fit!
